Ricardo Iorio
Widely regarded as the godfather of Argentine heavy metal, Ricardo Iorio was
born to a family of Italian and Tehuelche heritage in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires,
on June 25, 1962. His youth in Caseros sparked a passion for heavy metal when he
encountered a biker who embodied the style he would come to embrace. Iorio's
musical journey began earnestly after he met Ricardo "Chofa" Moreno while
