Reut Regev, born in Israel, is an Israeli-American jazz trombonist and composer.
She began playing piano at age six and switched to trombone at thirteen. After
performing at major Israeli festivals and serving as the first trombonist in the
army band, Regev moved to New York City in 1998. There, she collaborated with
artists from the Jewish music scene before transitioning to work with
avant-garde musicians like Butch Morris, Elliott Sharp, Dave Douglas, and
