Madhavan Raveendran, also known as Raveendran Master, was born on November 9,
1943, in Kulathupuzha, Kollam district, India. He began his career as a playback
singer with the song "Parvanarajanithan" from the Malayalam film Velliyazhcha.
His breakthrough came when he composed the music for the film Choola (1979),
which included the hit song "Tharake Mizhiyithalil Kannerumayi...". Raveendran
went on to compose songs for over 150 films, primarily in Malayalam and Tamil.
Notable works include songs and background score for Thenum Vayambum (1981) with
hits like "Thenum vayambum" and ...
