Radio Elvis mastermind Pierre Guénard was born in 1988, and from an early age he
dreamed of becoming either a singer or a writer. He got his start on the slam
scene between Poitiers and Nantes, opening for French slam star Grand Corps
Malade. Leaving his Poitou region for the French capital in 2009, he called
himself Radio Elvis, a pseudonym far removed from the "King" of Tupelo, since it
was used for a project dedicated to... french chanson, or even the most refined
