Australian new wave band Pseudo Echo, from Melbourne, was formed in 1982 by
Brian Canham, Pierre Gigliotti, and Tony Lugton. The group gained initial
traction when Molly Meldrum aired their demo version of "Listening" on his show
Countdown in June 1983. Their debut single "Listening", re-recorded and produced
by Peter Dawkins, peaked at number 4 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles
Chart in November 1983. The band's debut album, Autumnal Park, was released in
