Prince Royce, born Geoffrey Royce Rojas on May 11, 1989, in the Bronx, New York,
to Dominican parents, began his musical journey writing poetry and participating
in school talent shows before transitioning to songwriting in his teens. At 19,
he met producer Andrés Hidalgo, who introduced him to Sergio George, leading to
a contract with Top Stop Music. His self-titled debut album, Prince Royce
(2010), featured hits like "Stand by Me" and "Corazón Sin Cara," the latter
