Piramis
Piramis, a Hungarian hard rock band, was formed in 1974 by bassist Lajos Som,
drummer Miklós Köves, and guitarist János Závodi. The group initially focused on
instrumental music but soon added keyboardist Péter Gallai as the vocalist.
Their first single "A becsület és" / "Szállj fel magasra!" was released in 1976
and became a significant success. The band's debut album Piramis followed in
1977, winning them a public award at the Metronóm '77 Festival for their song
"Égni kell annak, aki gyújtani akar". Subsequent albums include Piramis 2
