Penelope Trappes
UK-based Australian musician and singer Penelope Trappes is known for her
experimental ambient compositions. A member of the duo Lismore, which she formed
with Stephen Hindmann in 2005, they went on to form The Golden Filter and
released seven albums under this name, before Penelope Trappes pursued her solo
career. She recorded the trilogy Penelope One (2017), Penelope Two (2018) and
Penelope Three (2021), characterized by dreamlike, introspective atmospheres.
