Hernán Jesús González, known professionally as Pecos Kanvas, and born on
November 11, 1953, in Caracas, Venezuela, is a singer-songwriter. His music
spanned various genres, including merengue, lambada, and romantic ballads. As a
singer, he began his musical journey at the age of 15 by participating in youth
church choirs and later joined Alfredo Ledezma's show with the group Escena.
Four years later, Rudy Márquez gave him the stage name Pecos Kanvas. Kanvas
gained prominence when he composed themes for telenovelas on RCTV, notably
