Pamelah, a Japanese electro-power-pop band, was formed in 1995 by vocalist and
lyricist Yuki Mizuhara and composer and guitarist Masazumi Ozawa. The group's
name was inspired by actress Pamela Tiffin. Before the band's formation,
Masazumi had already established himself as an arranger, contributing to Wands'
debut single "Sabishisa wa Aki no Iro". Yuki underwent vocal training from 1992
until her debut with Pamelah. In February 1995, Pamelah released their debut
single "Looking for the Truth", written by Mariko Kurosawa. The band
self-produced all subsequent music.
