The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, an American country-rock band, were formed in
1972 in Springfield, Missouri. The group's initial line-up included Randle
Chowning, Steve Cash, John Dillon, Elizabeth Anderson, Larry Lee, Rick
Campanelli, Bill Jones, and Michael "Supe" Granda. In 1971, the band recorded a
demo at Top Talent Studios in Springfield, which eventually reached New York
music executive John Hammond through band friend Steve Canaday. After changing
