(Orange Spiny Crab, orangespinycrab)
orangespinycrab is a Japanese rock band from Kitaibaraki, Ibaraki, where the
group formed in 2012 under the original name "The Virgins." A name change
followed in 2014, with the band rechristening itself "The Dotes." By the late
2010s, The Dotes' four members — vocalist/guitarist Yusuke Suzuki, guitarist
Naoto Suzuki, bassist Yuki, and drummer Yurito — had settled on the name
orangespinycrab, and the band released its debut single, "Binkan Shoujo," in
January 2019. The singles "Mosaic" and "7997" were also released that year. Two
