Nosequien y Los Nosecuantos, a Peruvian pop rock experimental band fronted by
singer, comedian, and TV host Raúl Romero, emerged in 1988. The group quickly
gained attention for their eclectic blend of genres, including rap, reggae,
Peruvian waltz, and ska, along with satirical elements that set them apart.
Their debut album Con el Respeto Que Se Merecen was released on January 2, 1991.
