Born in Paris on March 2, 1966, Stéphanie Morato grew up in Malakoff and began
recording under the name Stéphanie in 1983 ("Funky School" and "Tous ces
amoureux"), then Christie in 1988 (a Nino Ferrer medley, "Mirza, Oh hé hein bon,
