Of Caribbean origin, Nick Rivera Caminero was born on March 17, 1981 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, USA, before following his family to Puerto Rico. After releasing his first EP in 1995, he struck up a close friendship with Daddy Yankee, forming the Los Cangris duo with him. In 2001, this reggaeton enthusiast scored a major hit with the album Haciendo Escante. He then went on to collaborate with Hector & Tito, Farruko and Ricky Martin.
