New Model Army
New Model Army is an indie band from England that was founded in 1980.
Stylistically, the band originates from the punk scene, but also uses elements
of rock and folk in their songs. New Model Army initially started out as a trio
with singer and guitarist Justin Sullivan, Stuart Morrow on bass and Phil
Tompkins on drums. It was not until 1983 that New Model Army released their
debut single "Bittersweet". The first TV appearances and tours followed. The
debut album Vengeance reached number 73 in the British charts in 1984. The real
