Nathen Page, born on August 23, 1937, in Leetown, West Virginia, was a jazz
guitarist. He began playing guitar at age eight and gained initial recognition
while performing with the Army Big Band during his military service. After
moving to Washington, D.C., he joined Jimmy Crawford's band before touring
extensively with Jimmy Smith and his ensemble. During this 1970s, Page
collaborated with notable artists such as Roberta Flack, Herbie Mann, Jackie
