The Japanese indie rock group nano.RIPE was formed in 1998 and initially
consisted of singer and guitarist Kimiko, along with guitarist Jun Sasaki.
Between 2007 and 2009, the group made a number of independent releases including
Aorio Pouch (2007) and Jikū Flask (2009). When they signed to the Lantis record
label, they were joined by bassist Nobuyuki Abe and drummer Shinn. Their major
debut single "Patricia'' was released in 2010, followed by their first
major-label studio album, Hoshi no Yoru no Myaku no Oto no (2011), which hit
