Mortiis
Mortiis – Håvard Ellefsen, born 25 July 1975 in Skien, Norway, is a Norwegian
bass player and composer whose career spans industrial rock and rock music.
After a brief tenure with the black metal band Emperor in the early 1990s, he
launched the solo project Mortiis in 1993, releasing the debut album The Song of
a Long Forgotten Ghost that same year. The early releases Fodt Til A Herske
(1994) and Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør (1994) established his dark ambient style,
while Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent (1995) and Crypt Of The Wizard (1996)
