With a style that seamlessly combines trap, R&B, and gospel, American rapper and
singer Morae Ruffin (September 9, 1992), aka MoRRay, jumped to fame in 2020 with
his single “Quicksand.” Hailing from Fayetteville, North Carolina, he grew up
listening to R&B and gospel music, and by the time he was 4, he was already
singing in his local church choir. During his teenage years, MoRRay relocated to
