Mordechai Shapiro, born on December 9, 1989 in Monsey, New York, is an American
singer and songwriter. He began his musical journey as the star soloist of the
Miami Boys Choir at age eight. After leaving the choir in 2003 due to vocal
changes, Shapiro returned to perform at Jewish events. His professional debut
came in 2016 with the album Kol Haderech, which peaked at Number 15 on the
Billboard World Music chart under producer Yitzy Waldner. This was followed by
