Japanese former singer and actress Momoe Yamaguchi was born on January 17, 1959,
in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo. Her career spanned from 1973 to 1980, during which she
achieved immense success in the Japanese music and film industries. Known
professionally by her maiden name Momoe Yamaguchi, she is often referred to as
"Momoe" and is considered an idol in Japan. She became interested in music at a
