Mithoon
Born on January 11, 1985, in Mumbai, India, award-winning Hindi filmmaker,
songwriter, and singer Mithun Sharma is better known by the name Mithoon. He was
born into a family of musicians: his grandfather Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma,
father Naresh Sharma, and uncle Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma were well-known names
in the Bollywood and Indian music communities. Mithoon began studying music at
the age of 11 and was taught by some of his father’s musician friends. His first
recordings to be featured in Bollywood films were 2005’s “Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein”
