Born February 3, 1974, in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong actor and Cantopop star Miriam Yeung first rose to prominence in 1995 after finishing third in the TVB 14th annual New Talent Singing Awards competition. She released her first Cantonese-language album in 1996, The Wolf Is Coming (狼來了), with a second full-length offering, Feeling, following in 1997.
