Mimicat
Born Marisa Isabel Lopes Mena on 25 October 1984 in Coimbra, Mimicat is a
Portuguese singer and songwriter operating on a soul-pop spectrum. After setting
her sights on music at a young age, she had her first taste of the spotlight
performing at Portugal's Festival da Cançao under the stage name Izamena with
the song "Mundo Colorido," but did not progress further than the semi-final
stage. Her first album For You arrived in 2014, marked out by the singles “Tell
