Mike Van Portfleet
Robert Michael VanPortfleet (performing as Mike VanPortfleet; born 20th century)
is an American darkwave and goth rock singer-songwriter, keyboardist, and
guitarist from Grand Rapids, Michigan. VanPortfleet relocated to Tempe, Arizona,
in 1978 and earned a degree in cultural geography. In May 1988, VanPortfleet
established the musical project Lycia to record guitar experiments. Partnering
with bassist John Fair, VanPortfleet produced over a hundred songs and released
