Miguel Ángel Lunardi, known professionally as Miguel Alejandro, was born on
15 May 1958 in Río Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina, and pursued a career as a singer.
He began performing at age eighteen with the local group Legión Extranjera, and
in 1984 recorded a demo that would seed his solo career. His first studio
effort, Miguel Alejandro, appeared in 1985, followed by Con fuerza (1986) and
Insuperable (1987). The breakthrough came with the 1988 release De Córdoba para
