Mickie Krause
The German pop singer Mickie Krause was born under the name Michael Engels on
June 21, 1970 in Wettringen. After two apprenticeships, he was a warm-up artist
for Hans Meiser, Birte Karalus and Oliver Geissen as well as a singer in the pop
band Erika Rehbein and Schlagerkarussell. Mickie Krause made his debut with his
single "Anita" in 1998. A year later, he began performing alongside the
successful pop singer Jürgen Drews in the Riu Palace discotheque on the Balearic
