American singer-songwriter Michelle Branch has enjoyed an immensely successful
but somewhat fragmented career. After releasing her self-financed album 'Broken
Bracelet' the Arizona-born artist was picked up by Maverick Records and in 2001
released her major label debut album 'The Spirit Room'. It produced the punchy
pop rock single 'Everywhere' which was an instant hit making the top 20 in the
UK, USA and Australia and the accompanying video won her the MTV Viewers Choice
