Micah Paul Hinson, born on February 3, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, is an
American singer and guitarist. He grew up in Abilene, Texas, where his musical
journey began at age 11 when he received his first guitar from his father. His
early influences included Neil Diamond and John Denver, as well as his older
brother's Ministry and The Cure records.
Hinson recorded his first full demo, The Baby and the Satellite, around 2000.
This demo garnered interest from Rough Trade Records and Sketchbook Records,
