An all-rounder touched by grace, Meredith Monk is one of those multi-faceted
artists whose research had a major impact on the artistic evolution of her time.
A musician (mainly pianist), composer and soprano singer, the American (b. 1942)
is part of a minimalist musical avant-garde based on the voice and its multiple
resonances. Her work, released on the ECM label shortly after her debut,
