(Melonkinenbi)
Melon Kinenbi, a Japanese girl group formed under Hello! Project, debuted on
February 2000. The band consisted of Hitomi Saito, Megumi Murata, Masae Ōtani,
and Ayumi Shibata, all from Tokyo. They were formed after successfully passing
the 2nd Morning Musume & Michiyo Heike Imotobun Audition in 1999. Melon Kinenbi
released their debut single "Denwa Matteimasu" on March 7, 2001, marking their
official entry into the music scene. Melon Kinenbi's career spanned over a
decade, during which they released several albums and singles. Their notable
