Melanie Wilhelm, known professionally as Melbeatz, was born on 18 July 1977 in
West Berlin and emerged as a German hip-hop producer and composer. Early
exposure to hip-hop culture paved the way for her first widely released effort,
the single “OK!” in 2004, which introduced her to the national scene. That same
