American singer-songwriter Matthew Brendan McAndrew (September 6, 1990) jumped
to fame in 2014 after finishing runner-up on the seventh season of the reality
competition series The Voice. Raised in the small town of Barnegat Light in New
Jersey, he began writing songs and performing from a very young age. It was
