Matt and Kim
Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino, formed the Brooklyn‑based duo Matt & Kim in 2004,
with Matt Johnson on vocals and keyboards and Kim Schifino on drums. The pair
first released the EP To/From in 2005, followed by the self‑titled album Matt &
Kim in 2006 on IHEARTCOMIX, establishing a DIY presence. In 2008 the duo signed
with Fader Label and released Grand in 2009; its single "Daylight" achieved RIAA
gold status and was featured in multiple commercials and television programs.
Subsequent albums-Sidewalks (2010), Lightning (2012), New Glow (2015), and
