Marthe Wang
Marthe Haaland Wang, born on October 25, 1990 in Bergen, Norway, is a Norwegian
singer-songwriter. She completed her education at the Norwegian Academy of Music
in 2014, where she studied jazz singing and music pedagogy. Her debut album Ut
og se noe annet was released in 2017 and received critical acclaim in Norwegian
media. The album was nominated for the Spellemannprisen in the Folk category
that year, with the single "Til deg" becoming her breakthrough hit. In November
2018, Wang won the Tekstforfatterfondets lyspunktpris and the Edvard-prize for
lyrics on Ut og se noe annet. ...
