Marcus Nigsch, born 2 September 1972 in Altstätten, Swizterland, is an Austrian
singer, composer, and producer who performs as Marque. He grew up in Feldkirch,
teaching himself several instruments and later studying harmony and counterpoint
at the Zürcher Musikuniversität. Marque’s debut album, Wanna Make Love to You
(1995), showcased his multi‑instrumental skill and introduced him to the
electronic and electro‑pop scene. In 2000 he achieved a commercial breakthrough
