Marc Lucien Lavoine was born on August 6, 1962 in Longjumeau, Essonne, France. A French singer, songwriter and actor, he rose to fame in 1984 with the song "Pour une biguine avec toi", followed by the unstoppable slow song "Elle a les yeux revolver" in 1985, which reached No. 4 in the French charts.
