MALKY
Malky, originally from Leipzig and later based in Berlin, is a pop rock band
consisting of singer Daniel Stoyanov and producer Michael Vajna. The duo met in
Mannheim and initially worked as songwriters for other artists before forming
Malky in 2011. Their debut EP Diamonds was released in 2013, under their own
label Eighty Days Records. Their debut album, Soon, released on June 27, 2014,
was praised by The Tagesspiegel for its powerful and sophisticated sound. In
September 2016, they signed with Sony Music and released the album Where is
Piedmont? in summer of that year.
