Maktub, born Yang Jinmo (양진모) on October 15, 1988, in Iksan City, Jeollabuk-do,
South Korea, is a renowned K-pop solo singer, songwriter, and producer. Active
since 2011, Maktub has made a name for himself with his unique blend of
emotional ballads and electronic pop. Maktub began his career under his own
talent agency, Maktub Company, which allowed him to have creative control over
