Maelføy
Maelføy is a German metalcore band formed in September 2017 in Ganderkesee by
Lars Riedel, Marne Büch, Lukas Meyer, Martin Schiwy, and Christopher Maaß. The
group's name is derived from "Malfoy" in the Harry Potter series. Their musical
style blends melodic post-hardcore with influences from metalcore and
alternative rock. In 2017, they released their first single "Ø", followed by the
EP The World in Chaines in 2018. The band released the singles "Decay" in 2019
and "Fading Hope" in 2020. Their debut album, Hollow Throne, was released in
2021. Their second album, Failures, Fears ...
