Madame
Madame is a Quebec rock band founded in Alma in 1982, originally made up of
Jacques Marchand, Michel Gatignol and Roger Boudreau. The band moved to Montreal
in 1983, where they took part in the Empire des futures stars competition
organized by Montreal radio station CKOI. The single " On veut pas payer " hits
the Quebec radio charts in 1985. The album Mme follows that same year, along
with a tour of Quebec shows. Madame wins the Félix for Group of the Year at the
