Luther Andrews Dickinson, born on January 18, 1973, in Memphis, Tennessee, is an
American guitarist and singer. He began his musical career at a young age,
playing concerts and gaining recording experience with his father, Jim
Dickinson, and brother, Cody. In 1987, Dickinson made his recording debut with a
metal-influenced guitar solo on "Shooting Dirty Pool" from the Replacements'
album Pleased to Meet Me. He formed the North Mississippi Allstars with his
brother Cody in 1996, a band that has been nominated for three Grammy Awards in
