Megurine Luka, codenamed "CV03," is a Vocaloid software developed by Crypton
Future Media in Sapporo, Japan. Created as an adult female character, her voice
was sampled from Yū Asakawa and utilizes Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 and
Vocaloid 4 singing synthesizer technology. Megurine Luka made her debut with the
single "フィナーレ" released on November 15, 2010. Her first album, エレクトキタニカ, was
released on April 29, 2012. In 2013, she ranked as the third most popular
