Lucero Hogaza León, better known simply as Lucero, is a Mexican singer, actress,
and television host. Born on August 29, 1969, in Mexico City, Lucero began her
career in the entertainment industry at the young age of 10, appearing in the TV
shows Alegrías de Mediodía and Chiquilladas. Te Prometo, her official debut as a
singer, was released in 1982. During this time, she landed her first lead role
in the soap opera Andrea Celeste and starred alongside Pedro Fernández in the
