Los Ronaldos were formed in Madrid in 1985 by guitarist and vocalist Coque
Malla, who would become the group’s frontman. The band’s first rehearsal took
place the same year, and they debuted publicly in January 1986 before signing
with EMI, which enabled the release of their self‑titled debut album Los
Ronaldos in 1987; the record included early hits such as "Sí, sí" and "Si os
