Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, formed in Buenos Aires in 1984 by Mario Siperman,
Aníbal Rigozzi, Vicentico, and Flavio Cianciarulo, began as a ska outfit with a
youthful enthusiasm for music. Their first public appearance was at a school
event, followed by the release of the debut single "Yo quiero morirme acá" and
the 1986 album Bares y fondas, which introduced the group to the Argentine
underground scene. In 1987 the band signed with Sony Music and issued Yo te
avisé!!, a double‑platinum record that expanded their audience to Chile and
