Los Charros de Lumaco, formed in 2004 by guitarist, composer and vocalist Marcio
Toloza Soto in the commune of Lumaco, Chile, emerged from Toloza’s early
experience in Argentina where he learned guitar under Hugo Mariángel. The
group’s breakthrough came with the album Simpática y Muy Bonita (2005) released
on Star Round, which propelled them to national recognition and earned a gold
