Last Exit was an American free jazz supergroup formed in 1986, consisting of
electric guitarist Sonny Sharrock, drummer Ronald Shannon Jackson, saxophonist
Peter Brötzmann, and bass guitarist Bill Laswell. The band's debut album, Last
Exit, was released on January 1st, 1986. Known for their uncompromising musical
ferocity and improvised performances, Last Exit found a modest following among
