(Kyusonekokami, Kyuso Nekokami)
A Japanese punk-rock band from Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture, Kyuso Nekokami is
best known for singles like "Mega Shake It!," "Happy Ponkotsu," and "Galaxy,"
all of which reached the Top 20 during the 2010s. Vocalist/guitarist Seiya
Yamasaki, keyboardist Shinnosuke Yokota, guitarist Kazuma Okazawa, bassist
Hagane-maru, and drummer Taisuke Sogō formed the group in 2009, with Takurō
Kawakubo replacing Hagane-maru two years later. Jūdai de Dashitakatta, the
band's indie debut, was released in March 2012 and enjoyed minor success in
Japan, where it hit Number 194 on the Oricon chart....
